At MARQUEE, we don’t lead with AI, we lead with ideas.
Great creative still starts with strategy, insight, experience, and a human understanding of what makes a brand connect. Those are things no prompt can replace.
That said, we’ll admit it: sometimes it’s just fun to play with AI.
Recently, a few of us experimented with turning ourselves into caricatures inspired by our professional and creative lives. We supplied the ideas, photos, and details, then played with prompts and refinements to see just how much personality we could coax out of the technology.
The results, some surprisingly accurate and others good for a laugh, became a creative exercise in their own right.
What’s especially interesting is how quickly the technology has changed. When some of our team first tried this in February, the results had a much more obvious cartoon feel. Just months later, using the same platform, the images can be more detailed, personalized, and lifelike.
For us, that’s where AI fits best: as another tool in the creative toolbox. Not a replacement for original thinking or the people behind the work, but a way to explore an idea, spark inspiration, experiment… and occasionally make ourselves laugh.
Because even serious marketers should have a little fun creating.
